Betsy, creator of Eco-novice: Going Green Gradually, is dedicated to chronicling her success and failures as she goes green. Betsy shares great tips about how to be more eco-friendly with topics covering such as recycling, going green on a budget, green cleaning, eco-friendly holidays, how to get started, and much more. A mother herself, Betsy also posts about cloth diapering, baby gear, food, and back-to-school tips.


Even though Betsy has been going green for five years, she states, “I still often feel like a green newbie.” Even though she may still call herself a newbie, she has great advice for anyone on how to live eco-friendly.

Jennifer Harrington is a Toronto-based illustrator, writer and graphic designer. She illustrated the best-selling children’s book series 'A Moose in a Maple Tree,' which includes the titles 'A Moose in a Maple Tree,' 'The Night Before a Canadian Christmas' and 'Canadian Jingle Bells.' She is also the owner of JSH Graphics, a boutique graphic design agency that specializes in print and web advertising.
