Goats are the go-to in historic Congressional Cemetery’s eco-cleanup quest
The Congressional Cemetery serves as a final resting place for many members of congress, including a vice president. And now they have goats! As a new Eco-friendly and cost-efficient alternative to machines or pesticides, the Association for the Preservation of Historic Congressional Cemetery has chosen to escort a small hard of goats into the area to gnaw away underbrush threatening to topple onto the headstones.
