An exhibit by a group of artists opposed to the Norther Gateway Pipeline make their feelings known at Calgary’s City Hall. Canada’s Rainforest at Risk: Art for an Oil-Free Coast is on display until Wednesday April 17th in the atrium. They travelled up to the Great Bear Rainforest last June to see the area where the pipeline would be built and created works of art to depict the beauty of the area.

The artists are concerned about the increased tanker traffic on the coast that will result from the pipeline.

Organizers say the exhibit expands the voices of opposition to the project.
